BSA 100TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
If you have not seen the Boy Scouts 100th Anniversary Display at the Rowan Museum please go to see it. Troop 448 has a number of items in this display. It will be open through August.
The troop is having its own 100th Anniversary Display at the Scout building on Saturday and Sunday afternoons on September 11th and 12th, which is the 78th Anniversary of Troop 448. On each Monday evening in August, in lieu of regular Scout meeting, we will be getting our Scout building ready for this display. There will be an awards program for each Scout who participates in the Monday evening work in August. A ticket stub with the Scout’s name on it will be placed in a can for a drawing after the event for a number of historic and valuable items to be given away. Don’t miss this! Get your name in each week for the drawing.
