Activities in June
On June 12th we had the following Scouts and adult leaders leave for a 15 day trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico; Joshua Billingslea, Seth Culp, Spencer Dixon, Neil Emmett, Murray Farrington, Nick Greene, Sam Greene, with adult Scout leaders Glen Dixon, Cora Greene, Bill Greene, and Alfred Wilson.
On June 20th we had the following going to Camp Barnhardt for a week; Mark Baker, Jeremiah Billingslea, James Keopasent, Robert Leonard, Ryan Leonard, Dylan Morgan, Zach Oster, Gabriel Robinson, Isaiah Stamper, John Steelman, Zach Winn, and Assistant Scoutmasters Rodney Leonard, Charles Oster, and Geof Wilson. Jack Kepley and John Rink also made trips to Camp Barnhardt three days that week installing new balls and pulleys on the sixteen troop flagpoles at the dining hall.
Serving on the staff at Camp Barnhardt are; Josh Billingslea, Elijah Canup, Seth Culp, Zach Oster and Asst. Scoutmaster Susan Culp. Also, Venture Scout April Oster is working on the staff at Florida Scout Sea Base.
You can understand why we are not having regular Scout meetings during the summer. We will have a complete report of all these summer activities at the fall Court of Honor.
